Within 3 months on receiving our proposal, “in December of 2013 the SmartAmerica Challenge was
launched to bring Industry, Academia and the Government to show how Cyber-Physical Systems (the
Internet of Things) can create jobs, new business opportunities and socio-economic benefits to America.
On June 11, 2014, 24 teams with over 100 organizations came together at the Washington DC
Convention Center for a demonstration.
Obama Administration [U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park] presented our Smart America Proposal
as their Initiative damaging its wholeness and socio-economic value.
Held at the Washington DC Convention Center on June 11, 2014, the SmartAmerica Expo will include
keynote speakers from the White House, including US CTO Todd Park, and speakers from government
agencies, including GSA, DOT, DHS, HHS, DOD, NSF and DOC.

EU (Smart Europe 2020 Strategy): Smart Europe™

 

WHO PIONEERED EUROPE 2020 as a European strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, and
how is the EC infringing the IP Rights.
In 2009, as I-Europe Research Consortium Coordinator, I proposed to the then president of the
European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, and the European Council president, Herman Van Rompuy,
a trans-European strategy “Smart Intelligent Europe” for building smart, intelligent and sustainable
European Union.
On 3 March 2010, the European Commission proposed our trans-European strategy “Smart Intelligent
Europe” as Europe 2020, a 10-year strategy for advancement of the economy of the European Union as
if following the failed Lisbon Strategy, 2000–2010.
On 26 March 2010, the European Council agreed on key elements of the new strategy, chaired by H.
Rompuy. The strategy elements were formally adopted on 17 June 2010.
Keeping the key points of "smart, sustainable, inclusive growth“, the strategy was extended with five
headline targets originated from the Germany Digital Agenda in 2009 led by Henrik von Scheel for the
Federal Minister of Economy & Technology (evolved in 2013 into the Industry 4.0):
It was also added up with seven flagship initiatives, such as Innovation Union and European platform
against poverty.
The Horizon 2020 framework programme, with its 80 billion and more euro budget for the years 2014-
2020, is just one of the implementing tools of the Europe 2020 strategy.
All in all, it is about 1 trillion euro was allocated for the Europe 2020 Strategy, its development and
implementation.
The author’s IP for the European strategy for building smart, intelligent and sustainable European Union
has never been recognized by the European Commission and the European Council.
The author has never had financial benefit from what he created, and this certainly makes a high-level
case of the author’s right violation by the EU Administration of Barroso and Rompuy.
“The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) can be used by individuals, companies or
organisations to take action against an EU institution, if they feel it has somehow infringed their rights”.
The type of case is "sanctioning EU institutions (actions for damages) – any person or company who has
had their interests harmed as a result of the action or inaction of the EU or its staff can take action
against them through the Court".
The case is under investigation by the Juncker’s Administration.

Smart Japan Strategy was originated in 2012-2013 and officially proposed to Abe in 2013-2014.
It looks Japanese government is involved in the brand piracy; for the logo has not been licensed to them.
